Coarse Tungsten Powder

Of the highest quality and purity, the specially prepared coarse tungsten powders produced at Buffalo Tungsten have average particle sizes greater than 10 microns. The coarse tungsten powders generally have a higher apparent density and better flow properties than the fine tungsten powders.

ANALYTICAL REPORTS
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) accompanies each shipment of tungsten carbide powder. BTI’s own Powder Metallurgy QC Laboratory prepares each COA to include the following:
  • Average Particle Size (Fisher Sub-Sieve ASTM B-330)
  • Apparent Density (Scott Volumeter ASTM B-329) ]
  • Particle Size Distribution (Photelometer ASTM B-430, Sedigraph, or Malvern Mastersizer)
  • Chemical Impurity Analysis
PACKAGING
Available in 500 lb/250 kg drums or 50-100 lb/25-50 kg pails

NOTES

  • All powders are commercially uniform in purity.
  • Higher apparent densities available as per customer request.
  • Also available mesh sizes for screening are 270 & 325 mesh as per customer request.
